Installation:
1) Disconnect from internet and Install SR4.2 (included in the folder)
2) Replace 2 dll files into SR4 folder (c:\Program Files\Eaton\ServiceRanger4\)
- Eaton.ECF.Facade.ServiceRanger.LicenseExtensions.dll
- Eaton.ECF.Facade.ServiceRanger.Security.dll
3) Run SR database (c:\ProgramData\Eaton\ServiceRanger4\)
4) Run GETHWIDtool_new, hit copy to clipboard.
5) Run WLGen_SR41loaderand click License Manager
6) Click add License and enter some info
7) Choose Date Expiration - less than a year
8) When finished, click save
9) Click Create License Key and OK
10) In folder you just created (name of your customer or company), copy file "regkey.dat"and paste it in Servise Tool Box.
11) Run "SR41 KG" click "GET SN" and copy the code into Serial Number and Order Number
12) Copy "Computer Code" into "SR41 KG" to get Activation code
Recommendation:
1) Block SR4 websites
Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\ folder and open "hosts" file in notepad
Add next records:
127.0.0.1 serviceranger4.com/downloadservice/
127.0.0.1 www.serviceranger4.com/ServiceContracts/ClientUpdater
2) Run Updater_AutoRun_remove.reg to delete SR4 updater tool from AutoRun
