By setting the suspension on the hardest level, fast glide wheels through potholes without falling deep.

To limit the risk, Ford said the company developed electronic damping system can minimize losses as well as increases potholes comfortable feeling when passing through this road type.
The first application of the system for the Fusion Sport V6 version 2017 (Mondeo), under which the US carmaker said control system conditions continuously by computer, then detect potholes and wheel adjustment before both wheels plunged into potholes.
Computer analysis of data collected from 12 high-resolution sensors, and adjust the dampers every 0.002 seconds to provide the most timely response to every situation. When discovered edge potholes, immediate suspension reverts to the most hard-to-wheel is not bogged down potholes.
As hard shock absorbers, wheels flying through potholes should not be "biting" in the left edge of the pothole, and also minimize the effects of brick and stone as potholes.
To validate the technology, Ford has conducted testing on the terrain in Romeo Proving Grounds potholes, near Michigan (USA). European engineers also conduct similar trials in more than 100 bad roads from 25 countries.
