Programming ESP Control Module of the Mercedes S550 (W221)
Programming Process:
Step 1: Connect the software to the car and log in to your Mercedes account to perform the programming.
Step 2: Select the Initial startup -> Replacement of control module N47-5 (ESP control unit) function and press "F3" to start the programming process.
Step 3: A message of conditions to prepare appears
- Prepare according to the required conditions
- Press "F2" to continue the procedure
Step 4: A message appears, press "F3" to continue the process
Step 5: Enter any value (usually 01, 02, 03,...) and press "F2" to continue the process
Step 6: The installation process is in progress
Notification of successful installation (programming) and synchrony (SCN Coding) press "F2" to continue the process
Select "Yes" to go to the next step
Step 7: Perform calibration of control unit ABR
- Prepare according to the required conditions
- Press "F5" to start the calibration process
The calibration is complete, press "F2" to go to the next step
Step 8: Calibrating the steering angle sensor
- Prepare according to the required conditions
- Press "F3" to start the process
